No. 19/2004 Health Services Act 1988 Health Services (Prescribed Regions) Regulations 2004 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 2 March 2004 Responsible Minister: BRONWYN PIKE Minister for Health DIANE CASEY Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the regions of Victoria for the purposes of the Health Services Act 1988. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 158 of the Health Services Act 1988. 3. No. 19/2004 Health Services (Prescribed Regions) Regulations 2004 3 SCHEDULE Regulation 4 PRESCRIBED REGIONS OF VICTORIA Region Description of region Barwon South Western Region The area encompassed by— (a) the Shire of Colac-Otway; (b) the Shire of Corangamite; (c) the Shire of Glenelg; (d) the City of Greater Geelong; (e) the Shire of Moyne; (f) the Borough of Queenscliffe; (g) the Shire of Southern Grampians; (h) the Surf Coast Shire; (i) the City of Warnambool. Grampians Region The area encompassed by— (a) the City of Ballarat; (b) the Rural City of Ararat; (c) the Golden Plains Shire; (d) the Shire of Hepburn; (e) the Shire of Hindmarsh; (f) the Rural City of Horsham; (g) the Shire of Moorabool; (h) the Shire of Northern Grampians; (i) the Shire of Pyrenees; (j) the Shire of West Wimmera; (k) the Shire of Yarriambiack. Hume Region The area encompassed by— (a) the Alpine Shire; (b) the Rural City of Benalla; (c) the Shire of Indigo; (d) the City of Greater Shepparton; (e) the Shire of Mansfield; (f) the Shire of Mitchell; (g) the Shire of Moira; (h) the Shire of Murrindindi; (i) the Shire of Strathbogie; (j) the Shire of Towong; (k) the Rural City of Wangaratta; (l) the City of Wodonga. North-West Metropolitan Region The area encompassed by— (a) the City of Banyule; (b) the City of Brimbank; (c) the City of Darebin; (d) the City of Hobsons Bay; (e) the City of Hume; (f) the City of Maribyrnong; (g) the Shire of Melton; (h) the City of Melbourne; (i) the City of Moonee Valley; (j) the City of Moreland; (k) the City of Nillumbik; (l) the City of Whittlesea; (m) the City of Wyndham; (n) the City of Yarra.
