No. 117/2004 Instruments Act 1958 Instruments (Fees) Regulations 2004 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 21 September 2004 Responsible Minister: MARY DELAHUNTY Minister for Planning DIANE CASEY Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the fees payable to the Registrar-General for the lodging, filing, registration and searching of documents under the Instruments Act 1958. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 139 of the Instruments Act 1958. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 10 October 2004. 4. Definition In these Regulations, "the Act" means the Instruments Act 1958. 6. Fees The fees to be paid to the Registrar-General under the Act are as follows— Item Details Fees 1. On registration under section 61 of the Act an agreement giving a preferable lien on crop 2⋅93 fee units 2. On lodging a request to enter satisfaction of a lien under section 66 of the Act 2⋅93 fee units 3. On registration under section 70 of the Act an agreement giving a preferable lien on wool 2⋅93 fee units 4. On registration under section 72 of the Act an agreement giving a mortgage of stock 2⋅93 fee units 5. On lodging a request to enter satisfaction of a lien under section 79 of the Act 2⋅93 fee units 6. For registration under section 80 of the Act a copy of a receipt from a mortgagee of stock 2⋅93 fee units 7. On filing a statutory declaration under section 80 of the Act 2⋅93 fee units 8. On filing a power of attorney created before 1 July 1980 2⋅93 fee units 9. On filing a declaration of notice of revocation of power of attorney created before 1 July 1980 2⋅93 fee units 10.
