No. 161/2004 Land Tax Act 1958 Land Tax (Indexation Factors) Regulations 2004 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 7 December 2004 Responsible Minister: JOHN BRUMBY Treasurer DIANE CASEY Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe indexation factors for determining the unimproved value of land for the purpose of assessing land tax for the year commencing 1 January 2005. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 3(3) and 93 of the Land Tax Act 1958. 3. Land tax indexation factors for 2005 (1) The factor in Column 3 of an item in Schedule 1 is the indexation factor determined by the Valuer- General in accordance with section 3(3) of the Land Tax Act 1958 that applies for the year 2005 in respect of land within the area described in Column 2 of that item in Schedule 1. -- 2 of 6 -- Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents S.R.
