REPORT ON DECISION (as edited) In giving his decision from the Bench on 15 July 2002, Commissioner Bloomfield stated: “This is an application by the Australian Building Services Association – Queensland Division, Industrial Organisation of Employers to change its name to the Building Service Contractors’ Association of Australia – Queensland Division, Industrial Organisation of Employers. The application has been made in accordance with the rules of the organization and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Industrial Relations Act 1999. The application has not been opposed. The proposed new name is not the name of another industrial organization and it is not so similar to the name of another industrial organization such as would be likely to cause confusion.
