No. 115/2004 Property Law Act 1958 Property Law (Fees) Regulations 2004 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 21 September 2004 Responsible Minister: MARY DELAHUNTY Minister for Planning DIANE CASEY Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the fees payable to the Registrar-General under the Property Law Act 1958. 2. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 10 October 2004. 3. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 13 and 16 of the Property Law Act 1958. 4. Fees The following fees are payable to the Registrar- General— SPECIFIC FEES Item Details Fees 1. For each entry or re-entry of execution to bind land to be registered 2⋅93 fee units 2. For each entry or re-entry of lis pendens 2⋅93 fee units 3. For each entry or re-entry of Crown debtors 2⋅93 fee units 4. For registration of Quietus 2⋅93 fee units 5. For each search and inspection made of memorials or of registers or indexes relating to memorials, executions, lis pendens or Crown debtors—for each whole day for each part of a day that is not a whole day, per hour or part of an hour $7.50 $2.50 6. Inspecting deeds and documents deposited under section 15—for each deed or document or chain of titles $7.50 7. For depositing a document or documents under section 15 except when the document or documents have been registered under the Property Law Act 1958 and are accompanied by a schedule identifying the documents deposited— (i) in respect of the first document (ii) in respect of each document after the first 2⋅93 fee units $10.00 r. 5 -- 3 of 5 -- Victorian Legislation Parliamentary Documents S.R.
