NOTE: The rates of pay in this Award include the arbitrated Safety Net Adjustment payable under the 1 September I 998 Declaration of
General Ruling and earlier Safely Net Adjustments. Where an employee has received a wage increase in excess of 1he total $34 Safely net
Adjustments made available since I February I 992, that increase may be set off agains1 lhe wage rale prescribed in this Award . 1bc payments which
may be set off include wages payable pursuant to certified agreements, currently operating enterprise flexibility agreements, Queensland workplace
agreements, award variations t o give effect to enterprise agreements and overaward arrangements. Absorption which is contrary 10 the lerms of an
agreement is not (equired. Increases made under previous State Wage Case decisions or under the current Statement of Principles, excepting those
resulting from enterprise agreements, are not t o be used to off-ser ar bitrated Safety Net Adjuslments.' ".
3. By deleting from the subclauses listed in the first column of the Schedule, the amount in the second column, and inserting the amounts in the third
and fourth columns respectively in lieu thereof.
