Whereas an error occurred in the General Ruling M published in the Queens larul Government Jndusrria/ Gazeue of 6 August, 1999, Vol. f61, No. J6,
pages 380-381, the following correction is made:-
By deleting subclause (I) of clause 4 (Wages and Allowances) and insertir\g the following in lieu thereof:

NOTE: The rates of pay in this Award include the arbitrated Safety Net Adjustment payable under the I September 1998 Declaration of General
Ruling and earlier Safety Net Adju�1mcn1s. Where an employee has received a wage increase in exce,ss of the total $34 Safety net Adjustments made
available since l February 1992, that increase may be set off against the wage rate prescribed in this Award. The paymems which may be set off
ioclude wages payable pursuant to certified agreements, currently operating enterprise flexibility agreements, Queensland workplace agreements,
award variations to give effect to enterprise agreemems and overaward arrangements. Absorption which is contrary to the terms of an agreement is
not requi red, Increases made under previous Stale Wage Case decisions or under the current Statement of Principles, excepting those resulting from
enterprise agreements, are not to be used to off-set arbitrated Safety Net Adjustments.
