No. 55/2003 Bail Act 1977 Bail (Amendment) Regulations 2003 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 11 June 2003 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Bail Regulations 2003 as a consequence of an amendment to the Bail Act 1977 by the Crimes (Property Damage and Computer Offences) Act 2003. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 33 of the Bail Act 1977. 3. Statement of reasons for granting bail In Form 3 of the Bail Regulations 20031 , after the paragraph commencing "with an offence of aggravated burglary" insert— "* with an offence of arson causing death under section 197A of the Crimes Act 1958;". ═══════════════ -- 2 of 3 -- S.R.
