No. 79/2003 Building Act 1993 Building (Application of Siting Requirements) Regulations 2003 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 June 2003 Responsible Minister: MARY DELAHUNTY Minister for Planning HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Building Regulations 1994 to extend the period during which certain building work is exempted from the application of regulations 4.18 and 4.19 in certain municipal districts. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 7 and 262 of the Building Act 1993. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2003. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. Extension of exemption for siting requirements In regulations 4.2(3)(b) and 4.2(3)(c) of the Building Regulations 19941 , for "1 July 2003" substitute "1 January 2004". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
