No. 127/2003 Business Names Act 1962 Business Names (Amendment) Regulations 2003 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 28 October 2003 Responsible Minister: JOHN LENDERS Minister for Consumer Affairs SUDHA KASYNATHAN Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objectives The objectives of these Regulations are— (a) to substitute a particular for the purposes of section 15 of the Business Names Act 1962; and (b) to revoke regulations that are no longer required. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 32 of the Business Names Act 1962. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 November 2003. -- 2 of 4 -- Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents S.R. No. 127/2003 Business Names (Amendment) Regulations 2003 2 4. Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Business Names Regulations 20031 are called the Principal Regulations. 5. Renewal of registration (1) Regulation 10(1)(h) of the Principal Regulations is revoked. (2) For regulation 10(1)(j) of the Principal Regulations substitute— "(j) a statement, in accordance with section 15, stating that the information contained in the renewal is correct and complete.". 6. Director may waive fees Regulation 13 of the Principal Regulations is revoked. 7.
