No. 90/2003 Co-operatives Act 1996 Co-operatives (Fees) Regulations 2003 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 22 July 2003 Responsible Minister: JOHN LENDERS Minister for Consumer Affairs HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the prescribed fees payable under the Co-operatives Act 1996. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 463 of the Co-operatives Act 1996. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 28 July 2003. 4. Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Co-operatives Regulations 1997 1 are called the Principal Regulations. -- 2 of 10 -- Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents S.R. Approval of disclosure statements (1) Insert the following heading to regulation 47 of the Principal Regulations— "Application or submission for approval of disclosure statement". (2) In regulation 47 of the Principal Regulations— (a) after "application" insert "or submission"; (b) for "301" substitute "301(2)". 6. New regulation 48 substituted For regulation 48 of the Principal Regulations substitute— "48. Submission for approval of proposed rules A submission to the Registrar for approval of proposed rules under section 18 of the Act must be accompanied by the relevant fee set out in Schedule 1.". 7. New regulation 54 substituted For regulation 54 of the Principal Regulations substitute— "54. Submission for approval of alteration of rules A submission to the Registrar for approval of a proposed alteration of the rules of a co-operative under section 112 of the Act must be accompanied by the relevant fee set out in Schedule 1.". 8.
