No. 149/2003 Electricity Safety Act 1998 Electricity Safety (Management) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 16 December 2003 Responsible Minister: THEO THEOPHANOUS Minister for Energy Industries SUDHA KASYNATHAN Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Electricity Safety (Management) Regulations 1999 to provide for an annual administration fee for a combined electricity safety management scheme and to generally improve the operation of those Regulations. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 150 and 157 of the Electricity Safety Act 1998. 3. Annual administration fee In regulation 31(1) of the Electricity Safety (Management) Regulations 19991 — (a) after "administration fee" insert ", under section 114(2) of the Act,"; -- 2 of 4 -- Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents S.R. No. 149/2003 Electricity Safety (Management) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 2 (b) after paragraph (b) insert— "(c) a scheme operator of a combined electricity safety management scheme submitted under sections 107(1)(a) and 107(1)(b) or sections 107(1)(b) and 107(1)(c) of the Act, is the sum of— (i) $10 000; and (ii) the relevant fee applicable to an employer operator under sub- regulation (1)(a); (d) a scheme operator of a combined electricity safety management scheme submitted under sections 107(1)(a) and 107(1)(c) of the Act, is the relevant fee applicable to an employer operator under sub-regulation (1)(a).". 4. Rebate of fees In regulation 32 of the Electricity Safety (Management) Regulations 1999, for "section 114" substitute "section 114A". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents S.R.
