The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe
Emergency Communications Victoria as an
emergency services agency for the purposes of the
Emergency Management Act 1986.
2. Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 39 of
the Emergency Management Act 1986.
3. Emergency services agency
Emergency Communications Victoria is
prescribed as an emergency services agency for
the purposes of the Emergency Management Act
1986.
Note: Emergency Communications Victoria is a State body
under the State Owned Enterprises Act 1992,
established by Order in Council dated 4 June 2002—
see Government Gazette No. S94, 4 June 2002.
