No. 101/2003 Fisheries Act 1995 Fisheries (Recreational Fishery Licence Exemption) Regulations 2003 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 26 August 2003 Responsible Minister: BOB CAMERON Minister for Agriculture HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Fisheries Regulations 1998 to exempt certain carers from the requirement to hold a recreational fishery licence. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 September 2003. -- 2 of 4 -- Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents S.R. Exemption from requirement to hold recreational fishery licence In regulation 404(1) of the Fisheries Regulations 19981— (a) in paragraph (e), for "years." substitute "years; or"; and (b) after paragraph (e) insert— "(f) holds a current pensioner concession card or equivalent as a result of receiving a carer payment under the Commonwealth Act for the time being in force in relation to social services.". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents S.R.
