VARIATION
THIS mailer coming on for hearing before the Commission at
Brisbane on 18 August 1995, this Commission doth order that the
said Award be varied as follows as from the eleventh day of
September. 1995 :-
1. By deleting su bclauses {a) and (b) of clause 5 (Salaries) and
inserting the following in lieu thereof:-
"(a)The following scale of minimum salaries shall apply to
teachers - th ree year trained:-

2. By deleting clause SA and inserting the following in lieu
thereof:-
"Safety Net Adjustment
SA. The rates of pay in thi s Award include the first and second
$8 per week arbitrated safely net adjustmen t payable under the
November 1994 State Wage Ca~e Dec is ion. Increases made under
previous State Wage Case principles or under the cunent Statemcm
of Principles are not to be used to offset arbitrated safe ty net
adjustments. The first and second $8 per week arbitrated safety net
adjustmem may be offset to the extent of any other wage increase,
whether an award increase. an overaward payment or an increase by
way of enterprise arrangement received s ince I February 1992. Pre
Febrnary 1992 overaward arrangements arc to be applied according
to their tenns.'·.
