THESE matters coming on fo r hearing before the Commiss ion at
Br isbane on the twenty-seventh day of June and the thirty-first day
of July, l 995, this Commission do th order that the sa id Award be
varied as follows as from the thirty -first day of July, 1995 :-
By deleting clause 3.4( l ) of the Award and inserting the
following in lieu thereof:-
"3.4 Wages
( I) The wage rates for adult employees per fortnight shall be as

The $8.00 Safety Net adjustment as it relates to Juniors and
Junior rates of pa y is to be applied to such Juniors on a pro rata
basis.
Note: The rates of pay in this Award include the first and seco nd
S8 per week arbitrated safety net adjustments payable under
the February and December 1994 State Wage Case
decisions. The first and second $8 per week arbitrated safety
net adjustments may be offset to th e extent of any wage
increase payable since I February 1992 pu rsuant to certified
agreements. enterprise llexib ility agreements. industrial
agreements or consent awards or award variations to give
effect to enterprise agreements, insofar as that wage increase
has not previously been used to offset an arbitrated safety
net adjustment. Increases made under previous State Wage
Case principles or under the current Statement of Principles,
except ing those result in g from enterprise agreements. are not
t0 be used to offset arbitrated safety net adjustments.".
