THIS matter coming on for hearing before the Commission at
Brisbane on 21 November, 1994, this Commission doth order that
the said Award be varied as follows as from the twenty-first day of
November. 1994 :-
By deleting clause 3.3 (Wages) and inserting the following in

The rates of pay in this Award include the first $8 per week
arbitrated safety net adjustment payable under the November 1994
State Wage Case decjsjon. Increases made under prev ious State
Wage Case principles or under the current Statement o f Principles
are not to be used to offset arbitrated s afety net adjustments. TI1is
first $8 per week arbitrated safety net adjustment may be offset to
the extent of any other wage increase, whether an award increase, an
ove.raward payment or an increase by way of enterprise arrangement,
rece ived s ince I Febrnary 1992. Pre February 1992 overaward
arrangements are to be app li ed according to their tenns .
( 3) In addition to the above rates Officers who arc certified
Aerial Ambulance Attendants, who are certified coronary care
officers or who are certified to use cannulation and are classified
below the rank of Senior Ambulance Officer Grade 3 shall receive an
allowance of$2 1. 74 per week to be paid for a ll leave purposes.
(4) Casual emp loyees shall be paid at the ra te o f 19% above the
o rdi nary hou rl y rate.''.
