By deleting subclause (d) of clause 2 (Hours of Work) and inserting the followi ng in lieu thereof:- ..(c)The rest pauses provided for in clause 12 of the Meat Indust ry (Private Export Companies) Mechanical Etc Industrial Agreement wi ll be combined into one 30 min u te rest pause to be ta ken in t he first part of the ordinary working day, wi th such 30 mi nute rest pause and the meal break arranged in such a way tha t the ordinary working day is broken into th ree approximately equal working pe r iods , consistent with contin uity of process coverage.'·. 2. By inserting a new clause I 0A as follows :- "Guaranteed Production I 0A. Whi lst in no way diminishing the provisions of the existing Disputes Procedure, the Combined Mai ntenance Unions guarantee to provide coverage for completion of slaughter and llow- on ac ti vi t ies for al l livestock yarded for the day such that Operators (cus tomers of the Metropolitan Regional Abattoir), shall be gi ven notice of any disrupt ion to slaughtering schedules and llow-on activities associated with industrial relations issues.'·. 3. I3y deleting subclause (c) of clause 11 (Wage Increases) and in serting the following in li eu thereof:- "(c) lnstalmenLs pro v ided in (a) and (b) above wi ll continue to have effect fro m IOMay I994.
