By adding a new pa ragraph to clause I (Application) as follows: - • As to the employ ers named in the Schedu le to this Award the provisions of the Award are modifi ed in accordance with the re qu ir ements of the individual Orders listed in such Schedule." . 2. Divisional and District Allowances - Adu lt employees (21 years and over) in the Mackay Division sha ll be paid 90c per week and adult employees (21 years and over) in the Eastern District of the Northern D ivision shall be paid $1 .05 per week in addition to the ra tes above prescrib ed . Note 1 Th e Award Rate includes wage increases and ad ju stments arising from State Wage Case decisions colloquia lly refer red to as: 2nd Ti er Adjustmen t; 1st (2 part s) and 2nd Structural Efficiency Adjustments; and $8.00 Safe ty Net Adjustment. Note 2 The Supplementary payment at each c lass ification level reflects the $8.00 arbitrated safety net adjustment principle enunciated in the February 1994 Review of Wage Fixi ng Pr incipl es . Consistent wi th the requirements of that princ iple the safety net adjustment is abso rbable to the extent of any equivalent amount in rates of pay - whether overaward, award, industrial agreement or ce rtified agreemen t - in excess of t he minimum rates (cl assification ra te and supplementary payment) prescribed in accordance with the October 1989 State Wage Case decision and adjus ted in accordance with the Ju ly 1991 Sta te Wage Case decision. 'Overaward' Payment is defined as the amount in ra tes of pay wh ich an employee would receive in excess of the minimum award wage as p re sc ri bed in this Award for the cla ssi fication in which such employee is engaged wh ich applied immediately prior to the date of operation of this variat ion: Provided that this defin ition sha ll exclude overtime, sh i ft al lowances, penalty rates, expense re lated al l owances, vacati on allowances, special rates or al lowances, respons ib ility allowances, or any other anci llary payments of a like nature descr ibed by th is Award.". 3.
