Consistent with the requirements of that principle the $8.00 Safety Ne t Adjustment is absorbable to the. ex tent of any equivalent amoun t in rates of pay - whe ther overaward, award, i nd ustria l agreement or certilied agreement - in excess of t he mi n im um rates (classificat ion rate and supplementary paymen t) presc ri bed in acco rd ance wi th the July 1991 State Wage Case decisio n.
