Note: Each classificat ion level includes an 58.00 adjustment reflecting the application of the arbitrated saiety net adjustment pnnciple enunciated in the February 1994, Review of Wage Fixing Pri nciples. Consistent with the requirements of that princ iple the S8. 00 safety net adjustment is absorbable to the extent of any equival en t amount in rates of pay - whether overaward, award, industrial agreement or cer1 1i1ed agreemen t - in excess of the minimum rates (class iiication rate and supplemen tary payment) prescribed in accordance with the October 1989, State VVage Case decision and adj usted in accordance wi th the July 199 1, St at e Wage Case deci sion.• .
