Facsimile: (07) 227 5532 -- 1 of 2 -- 160293 HIS HONOUR: On the admissions made before me, I find the defendants responsible to the plaintiff by reason of negligence and the plaintiff of contributory negligence assessed as to 50 per cent against the plaintiff. The quantum of damages is assessed at $188,000. This would result in a judgment for the plaintiff against the defendants for $94,000 plus costs agreed at $21,000, making a total of $115,000 in all. I give judgment against the defendants in that sum inclusive of their responsibility for costs. It is noted that all the defendants' claims inter se have been settled.
