Public Authorities (Dividends) Act 1983
Public Authorities (Dividends) Regulations 2003
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe
as public authorities for the purposes of
paragraph (g) of the definition of "public
authority" in section 4(1) of the Public
Authorities (Dividends) Act 1983 Authorities
within the meaning of the Water Act 1989.
2. Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 6A of
the Public Authorities (Dividends) Act 1983.
3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on
5 March 2003.
4. Revocation
The Public Authorities (Dividends) Regulations
19931 are revoked.

5. Authorities prescribed as public authorities
For the purposes of paragraph (g) of the definition
of "public authority" in section 4(1) of the Public
Authorities (Dividends) Act 1983, every
Authority within the meaning of the Water Act
1989 is a public authority for the purposes of the
Public Authorities (Dividends) Act 1983.
