464 QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT INDUSTRIAL GA ZETTE [22 October, 1993 22 October, 1993] QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT INDUSTRIAL GAZETT E 465 ############################### ##################### QUEENSLAND IND USTRIAL RELA TI ONS COMM ISS ION Industrial Relations Act 1990 s. 131 - application for variation Aus trali an Railways Union of Em ployees Queensland Branch and Others AND Queensland Rail (No. 8197 of 1993) RAILWAY AWARD - STATE COMM ISSIO NER FISHER VA RIATION 23 September 1993 THIS matter coming on for hearing before the Commission at Bris ba ne on 23 Sep tember 1993, this Commission doth order that t he sa id Award be varied as fol l ows as from the twenty-thi rd day of Sep tem ber, 1993:- By deleting subclause (2)(a) oi Schedule S11.2 (fravelling Allowances) and inserting the fol lowi ng in lieu thereof:- "(2)(a) Away from home overnight, certain employees - Mechanics and their assi sta nts, railway electri cian s, si gna l gange rs and maintainers, linesmen, scalemakers and their ass istan ts, men employed in interlocking gangs, and employees attached to the running staff section, other than locomotive inspectors, drivers, locomotive assistan ts and operations as si stants, when sent aw ay fr om their wor kshops or home depot to do work, gangers and f ett l ers sha ll be pa id an allowance of not l ess than $49.70 per day when away from home overnight if no camp be prov ided, with a maximum oi $253.90 per week whilst at one p la ce.".
