By deleting the section marked by sub-heading "Civil Infrastructure Stream" of "HIG HE R DUTIES" cla use of Appendix 2 (Trans1t1onal Arrangements - Manual - Ra ilway Award - State) and inserting the following in lieu thereof:- "Civil Infrastructu re Stream 1. Emplo yees translated to the Civil Infrastructure Stream within leve ls one (1) to three (3):- (a) wh en performing higher grade duties within those levels shall be paid at th e pay po int at wh ich the rel ief is being performed. (b) higher duties above level three (3) shall i:>e in ac cordance w ith t he principles outlined above for the Administrat ive/Management, Technical and Profess ional Streams. (c) Provided th at employees cu~rently perform ing higher gr ade at a paypoInt in leve l tour (4), wh ich is outside these principl es , shall rema in at that paypoint for a period of si x (6) months from the date of operation of this variation: Provided further that the six months w i ll be reduced should th at period of relief cease, in any case whichever is the earliest w ill p reva il In both cases any fu ture higher grade performed shall be in accordance with the gen eral prin cipl es outlin ed for higher grade.". 2. Emp loyees translated to the Engineering T rad es st rea m levels one (1) to three (3): - (a) wh en performing higher grade duti es wit h in those levels shall be paid shall be pa id at the pay point at wh ich the rel ief is being performed. (b) higher duti es above level three {3) shall ~ e in accordance wi th the principl es outlined above for the Adm inistrative/Management, Technical and Profess ional Streams.
