Ltd. in i ts role as the Telecommun ications Fac i li ti es Manager for the Queensland Government, w i tnesse th th at it is hereby mutual lv agreed as foll ows: - Terms of Agreement 1. Any officer of th e Voice Servi ces Branch w ho is unw i ll ing !O pa rtici pate in arrangemen ts requ iring officers of the Branch to work w ith and in the pr emi ses of Pacific Star w i ll be offered redepl oy n1 ent in the Publ ic Se rvi ce to another offic e, w it ho ut prejudi ce to current rates of remuneration, cond itions oi empl oyment and fut ure prospec ts of advancement. 2. The prescriptions of Publ ic Service Award - Sta te pub lished in the Queensland Covemment Industrial Gazette of 8 .Augu st 1987 an d vari ati ons th ereof and Public Servi ce {R emunerati on) Interim Award - State published in the Queensland Covernmelll /11dus1ria/ Cazerre oi 5 Oc to ber 1991 an d va riations thereof and any Awa rd or Awards made in substi tu tion for the Awards abovemen tio ned sha l I conti nue to app ly to officers of the Voice Servi ces Branch, without li mit of time. .3. The pr ov isions oi the Public Service Management and Employment Act 1988 and the Regu l at ions made thereu nder and the De terminations of the Governor in Council made pu rsua nt to the Act abovemen ti oned shall con tinue to ap p ly to officers of the Voice Services Branch, wi thout li mit of ti me. 4. The prov isions of the Pllhlic Sector Management Commission Act 1990 an d the Regulations made thereunder and the provisions of the Standards establi shed p ursuan t to the Act abovemen tioned shall continue to ap ply to officers of the Voice Services Branch, wi thou t lim it of time. 5. For the purp oses of the Pllblic Service Management and Employmenr Ace 1988 and the Public Secior Managemenc Commission Act 1990, officers of the Voice Servi ces Branch shal l continue to be supervised by an officer of the Centre for In fo rmation, Te chnology and Commun icat ions appoi nted for tha t purpose by the Director-General oi the A dmi nistrative Se rvices Department for the term of the Fac i lit ies Management con tract between the Queensland Government and Pac iii c Star Communicatio ns (Q ueensland) Pty. Ltd. For the purp oses of this cla use 5, supervision sha ll co mprise, but sha ll not be restric ted to: - Formal p ersonnel approvals. Pa rticipation in Management Group. Team brieiing of Voice Se rvices Branch staff. 6. The te nure of emp loy me nt and co nditio ns of employment of officers of the Voice Services Br~nch are i n 110 way prejudiced by arran gemen ts w hereby su ch ofr1cers work wit h and in the premises of Pa cific Star Communications (Queensland) Pty. Ltd. 7. Consultation is to take pl ace between the pa rti es on any proposed rest ructuring an d/or chan ges to staffing requirements fo r the Voice Services Branch. Aut horised establishment posi tions in the Vo ice Services Branch wh ich become va c an t sh al l be filled by Publ ic Se,vice appoin tees . Any negoti ated arran gemen ts relevant to the empl oy ment and conditions of staff of the Vo i ce Services Branch made between CI TE C and Pacific Star Communic at ions (Q ue ens l and) Ptv. Ltd . w i ll be ci rcu lated to all officers of the Voice Services Branch for their i nformati on. 8. The Director-General shall arrange, via the Supervisor appoi nted p ur sua nt to clau se 5, to over-vi ew and ensure conti nued and adequate tra ining to Voice Services Branch staff du ri ng the term oi thei r loca ti on w ith the Pac i fic Star Communications (Queensland) Pty. Ltd. organisation. 9. In the event of the Facilities Management Contract between the Queensl and Government an d Pacific Sta r Communications (Q ueensland) Pty. Ltd. expi ring or being terminated, the tenure of empl oy m en t and conditions of empl oymen t of officers of the Voice Se rvi ces Branch w i ll be con ti nued in accordance w ith clauses 1, 2, 3 an d 4 above. Operati on of Agreement 10. This Agreemen t shal l take effect and have the force oi law as fr om the ii rst day of February, 1993, and shal l re ma in in force for a period of 1 2 mon t hs from that day.
