By inserting a new provision (d) to subclause (46) of clause 3.1 (Definitions) as follows:- "(d) 'Adult Trainee Soil Tester' shall mean an employee 21 years of age or over who has not been previously engaged in this class of work, who will undergo training for a period of not less than 12 months by working full-time under the supervision of a Soi I Tester, Senior Soi I Tester, Supervising Soi I Tester of Engineer.". 2. By deleting subclauses (2)(a), (b), (c) and (d) of clause 3.3 (Wages) and inserting the following in lieu thereof:- "(2)(a) Except as elsewhere provided in this Award, an employee shall be paid at the wage rate prescribed for the classification as shown in (b) below.
