16 QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT INDUSTRIAL GAZETTE (4 May, 1991 QUEENSLAND IND UST RIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1990 s. 10. 12 - application for variation Brisbane City Council AN D The Australian Workers' Union of Employees, Queensland (No. B70 of 1991) POUNDKEEPERS, STOCKMEN AND IMPO UN DERS - BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT CHIEF INDUSTRIAL COMMI SS IONER LEDLIE 16 April 1991 VA RIATI ON THIS matter coming on for hearing before the Comm ission at Brisbane on 16 April 1991 , th is Commission doth order, by consent , that the said Industrial Agreement be varied as follows as from the sixteenth day of April, I991:- By deleting clause I (Rates of Wages) and inserti ng the following in lieu thereof:- "Rates of Wages I. The rate of wages for employees shall be as follows:- Poundkeeper Per week s 407.90 In addition to the above wage rates prescribed for Poundkeepers, they shall be supplied with free housing accommodation. Stockmen lmpounder Per week $ 369.00 359.00 i The abovementioned rates include compensation for any necessary standing-by in t he performance of their duties, any work performed I • by them on statutory holidays, the abnormal spread of ordinary weekly hours, and other disabilities associated with their duties. In addition to such rates, poundkeepers and stockmen shall be paid a loading of $49.00 per week to cover increased costs of fodder, shoeing, etc. Poundkeepers shall be paid a further loading of $14.00 per week to cover duties performed by their wives: Provided that Stockmen shall be entitled to the weeklv loading of $ 14.00 wh ilst relieving a poundkeeper. • Dog Jmpounders when required to work to a regular roster for work on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays shall be paid an allowance at the rate of $37.00 per day so worked. Dog lmpounders when required to work to a regular roster for work on Public Holidays shall be granted one (1) day off in lieu of each Public Holiday so worked and such dav off rn lieu shall be taken at a time convenien t to the Employer. · The abovementioned rates of wages shall be subject to Gua ranteed Minimum Wage variations.".
