No. 31/2002 Business Names Act 1962 Business Names (Amendment) Regulations 2002 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 14 May 2002 Responsible Minister: CHRISTINE CAMPBELL Minister for Consumer Affairs HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Business Names Regulations (No. 2) 1992 to limit the circumstances in which certain fees are payable and to make a minor amendment to a form of penalty notice. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 32 of the Business Names Act 1962. 3. Form of penalty notice In Schedule 2 to the Business Names Regulations (No. 2) 1992 1 , in Form 7, for "19" substitute "(insert date)". -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. Fees In Schedule 3 to the Business Names Regulations (No. 2) 1992— (a) in item 6(c), for "regarding a search in relation to a business name." substitute— "from a document lodged with the Director in relation to a business name if the extract includes the name of any person in relation to whom the name is registered or the registered address of the business (Note: No fee is payable if the extract does not include the name of any person in relation to whom the name is registered or the registered address of the business.)"; (b) item 9 is revoked. ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
