No. 86/2002 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Fees) Regulations 2002 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 24 September 2002 Responsible Minister: JOHN THWAITES Minister for Health HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to increase the fees for applications for the issue, amendment and renewal of licences and permits issued under the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 132 and 132B of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 November 2002. -- 2 of 6 -- S.R. No. 86/2002 Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Fees) Regulations 2002 2 4. Fees (1) In regulation 73(3) of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Regulations 19951 , for "$53.00" substitute "$54.00". (2) For the Table to regulation 73 of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Regulations 1995 substitute— "TABLE Type of licence or permit Column 1 Issue or amendment requiring inspection of premises by authorised officer Column 2 Renewal (a) a licence to manufacture and sell or supply by wholesale any Schedule 8 poison or Schedule 9 poison other than heroin $1088.00 $1033.00 (b) a licence to manufacture and sell or supply by wholesale— (i) any Schedule 1 poison, Schedule 2 poison, Schedule 3 poison, Schedule 4 poison or Schedule 7 poison or any combination of those poisons; or (ii) any Schedule 5 poison or Schedule 6 poison together with any Schedule 1 poison, Schedule 2 poison, Schedule 3 poison, Schedule 4 poison or Schedule 7 poison or any combination of those poisons $800.00 $476.00 (c) a licence to manufacture and sell or supply by wholesale any Schedule 5 poison or Schedule 6 poison $646.00 $398.00 r. 4 -- 3 of 6 -- S.R.
