No. 43/2002 Environment Protection Act 1970 Environment Protection (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Environment Protection Authority, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 18 June 2002 Responsible Minister: SHERRYL GARBUTT Minister for Environment and Conservation HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to make administrative amendments to the Environment Protection (Fees) Regulations 2001. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 71 of the Environment Protection Act 1970. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2002. -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Environment Protection (Fees) Regulations 20011 are called the Principal Regulations. 5. Fee for licence for premises licensed to receive waste In regulation 11 of the Principal Regulations— (a) in sub-regulation (1), for "0⋅02" substitute "0⋅01"; (b) in sub-regulation (2), for "0⋅2" substitute "0⋅1". 6. Component fee information In Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations— (a) in Part A, after clause 1 insert— "2. If particles are specified in a licence, but the particle size or the particle chemical composition is not specified, the fee is the component fee for class 1 indicators specified in Table 1 for each tonne per year of particles that may be discharged under licence to the atmosphere."; (b) in Part B, in clause 1, in the definition of "annual stormwater flow", for "litres" substitute "megalitres". ═══════════════ r. 4 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
