Land Tax (Indexation Factors) Regulations 2002
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe
indexation factors for determining the unimproved
value of land for the purpose of assessing land tax
for the year commencing 1 January 2003.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 3(3)
and 93 of the Land Tax Act 1958.
3. Land tax indexation factors for 2003
(1) The factor in Column 3 of an item in Schedule 1 is
the indexation factor determined by the Valuer-
General in accordance with section 3(3) of the
Land Tax Act 1958 that applies for the year 2003
in respect of land that, as at 1 January 2002, was
within the area described in Column 2 of that item
in Schedule 1.

(2) A reference in item 19 of Schedule 1 to Docklands
area is a reference to the area shown on a plan of
survey approved for the time being under
section 4 of the Docklands Authority Act 1991.
