HIS HONOUR: In this matter the plaintiff applies for Judgment 1
by default. Pursuant to rule 288, I am satisfied that the
claim and statement of claim were duly served upon the
defendant and that the defendant has defaulted in filing a
notice of intention to defend. I am further satisfied that 10
the plaintiff is entitled to Judgment for the amount of its
claim and for costs totalling $1,724.80. Its entitlement to a
Judgment for its costs comes from an express term of the
relevant agreement between the parties. The plaintiff is also
entitled to an amount of $137.50 for interest. 20
Accordingly, there will be Judgment for the plaintiff against
the defendant in the amount of $3,483.10, including $1,724.80-
for costs and $137.50 for interest.
