REPORT ON DECISION (a'> edited) In giving a decision from the Bench on 7 February 1997, Chief Commissioner Hall stated on behalf of the Full Bench:- 22598_1.DOC -- 1 of 2 -- 900 QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT INDUSTRIAL GAZETTE "This is an application to amend the Training Wage Interim A ward State. It seeks to make alterations of each of three rypes. Firstly it seeks to flow on a safety net wage increase. Secondly it seeks the recognition of certain new traineeships. Thirdly it seeks to deal with certain matters of a house-keepmg nature. There is no opposition to the application. We are told that the new traineeships have been established in accordance with existing protocols. In all the circumstances we grant the application and order the variation of the Training Wage Interim Award - State in accordance with the terms of the amended draft application. An operative date of I January 1997 is sought. Such an operative date would accord with the operative date under the counterpart federal award. Once again there is no opposition.
