of Operation) Regulations 2002
The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Attorney-General, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Evidence (Crown Witnesses
Allowances) Regulations 1992 for the period
specified in regulation 3.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5
and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act
1994.
3. Extension of operation
The operation of the Evidence (Crown
Witnesses Allowances) Regulations 19921 is
extended for the period beginning on the day
on which they would otherwise be revoked by

virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate
