No. 143/2001 Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1992 Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 11 December 2001 Responsible Minister: KEITH HAMILTON Minister for Agriculture HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 1996 to prescribe— (a) further classes of agricultural chemical products for the purposes of section 30 of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1992; (b) a form for the purposes of section 54A(3) of the Act. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 30, 54A and 76 of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1992. -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. Commencement (1) These Regulations, except for regulation 5, come into operation on the day on which they are made. (2) Regulation 5 comes into operation on 1 January 2002. 4. Principal Regulations In these Regulations, the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Regulations 1996 1 are called the Principal Regulations. 5. Prescription of further classes of agricultural chemical products In regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations, for paragraph (d) substitute— "(d) growth regulators; (e) vermin destroyers; (f) avicides.". 6. New Part 4 inserted After regulation 16 of the Principal Regulations insert— "PART 4—GENERAL 17. Forms The prescribed form for the purposes of section 54A(3) of the Act is Form 1 in Schedule 2.". r. 3 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R. New Schedule 2 inserted After Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations insert— "SCHEDULE 2 FORM 1 Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1992 Section 54A(3) ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CONSENT TO ENTRY AND SEARCH Name of authorised officer Details of premises Name of occupier Address Consent to entry and search Purpose of entry and search: Statement of occupier: • The authorised officer has informed me (the occupier) of the purpose of the search. • I have been informed that anything seized or taken or recordings made with my consent during the search may be used in evidence in proceedings. • I have been informed that I may refuse to give consent to the entry and search of the premises. • I consent to the entry and search of the premises.
