No. 149/2001 Food Act 1984 Food (Forms, Exemption and Registration Details) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 11 December 2001 Responsible Minister: JOHN THWAITES Minister for Health HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to make consequential amendments to the Food (Forms, Exemption and Registration Details) Regulations 1995 resulting from the Food (Amendment) Act 2001. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 63 of the Food Act 1984. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2002. 4. Principal Regulations -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. No. 149/2001 Food (Forms, Exemption and Registration Details) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 2 In these Regulations, the Food (Forms, Exemption and Registration Details) Regulations 19951 are called the Principal Regulations. 5. Title In the title to the Principal Regulations omit ", Exemption". 6. Objectives amended In regulation 1 of the Principal Regulations— (a) paragraph (b) is revoked; (b) in paragraph (c), omit "and vehicles". 7. Substitution of regulations 8, 9 and 10 For regulations 8, 9 and 10 of the Principal Regulations substitute— "8. Registration certificates A certificate of registration, renewal of registration or transfer of registration for food premises must be in the form of Schedule 5. 9. Register book details For the purposes of section 43(1) of the Act, a register book for food premises must be in the form of, and contain the particulars set out in, Schedule 7.". 8. Schedule 6 Schedule 6 to the Principal Regulations is revoked. 9. Schedule 8 r. 4 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R.
