No. 121/2001 Gaming Machine Control Act 1991 Gaming Machine Control (Miscellaneous) Regulations 2001 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 20 November 2001 Responsible Minister: JOHN PANDAZOPOULOS Minister for Gaming HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to make provision for the following matters under the Gaming Machine Control Act 1991— (a) the prescribed information to be contained in notices of applications for venue operators' licences or for listing on the Roll of Suppliers; (b) a form for search warrants issued under section 127 of the Act; (c) the prescribed authorities and persons to whom disclosure is permitted of information obtained under the Act. -- 2 of 7 -- S.R. No. 121/2001 Gaming Machine Control (Miscellaneous) Regulations 2001 2 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 159 of the Gaming Machine Control Act 1991. 3. Revocation The Gaming Machine Control (Miscellaneous) Regulations 1991 1 , the Gaming Machine Control (Miscellaneous) (Amendment) Regulations 19952 and the Gaming Machine Control (Miscellaneous) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 3 are revoked. 4. Definition In these Regulations, "the Act" means the Gaming Machine Control Act 1991. 5. Application for venue operator's licence— information to be advertised For the purposes of section 19(5) of the Act, the prescribed information to be contained in the notice published by an applicant for a venue operator's licence is— (a) a statement that an application has been made; and (b) the applicant's name and business address; and (c) the name and address of the venue at which the applicant proposes to conduct gaming, if known; and (d) the number of gaming machines proposed to be installed at the venue, if known; and (e) the times at which it is proposed the venue will be open for gaming, if known; and (f) the address and telephone number of the Authority. r. 2 -- 3 of 7 -- S.R. Application for listing on the Roll of Suppliers— information to be advertised For the purposes of section 63(7) of the Act, the prescribed information to be contained in the notice published by an applicant for listing on the Roll of Suppliers is— (a) a statement that an application has been made; and (b) the applicant's name and business address; and (c) the address and telephone number of the Authority. 7. Search warrant For the purposes of section 127(2) of the Act, the prescribed form of the search warrant is Form 15 in Schedule 5 to the Magistrates' Court General Regulations 2000. 8. Secrecy provisions—information acquired under the Act—disclosure permitted to prescribed authorities and persons For the purposes of section 139(3)(b) of the Act, the prescribed authorities and persons are those listed in the Schedule. __________________ r. 6 -- 4 of 7 -- S.R.
