No. 131/2001 Magistrates' Court Act 1989 Magistrates' Court (Arbitration) (Professional Costs) Regulations 2001 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 4 December 2001 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to increase the allowances for costs which may be awarded in respect of an arbitration under Division 2 of Part 5 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 105(2) and 140 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989. 3.
