No. 137/2001 Osteopaths Registration Act 1996 Osteopaths Registration (Amendment) Regulations 2001 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 4 December 2001 Responsible Minister: JOHN THWAITES Minister for Health HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the form of an application for endorsement of registration for the purposes of section 7A of the Osteopaths Registration Act 1996. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 88 of the Osteopaths Registration Act 1996. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2002. -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. Amendment to the objectives In regulation 1 of the Osteopaths Registration Regulations 1997 1 , after paragraph (a) insert— "(ab) the form of application for endorsement of registration of an osteopath under section 7A of that Act; and". 5. Form of application for registration In regulation 4 of the Osteopaths Registration Regulations 1997, for "the Schedule" substitute "Schedule 1". 6. New regulation 4A inserted After regulation 4 of the Osteopaths Registration Regulations 1997 insert— "4A. Form of application for endorsement of registration to practise Chinese medicine For the purposes of section 7A(5)(a) of the Act, the prescribed form is set out in Schedule 2.". 7. Amendment to Schedule headings In the Schedule to the Osteopaths Registration Regulations 1997, for "SCHEDULE" substitute— "SCHEDULES SCHEDULE 1". 8. New Schedule 2 inserted After the Schedule to the Osteopaths Registration Regulations 1997 insert— r. 4 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R. No. 137/2001 Osteopaths Registration (Amendment) Regulations 2001 3 "SCHEDULE 2 Regulation 4A Osteopaths Registration Regulations 1997 APPLICATION FOR ENDORSEMENT OF REGISTRATION UNDER SECTION 7A OF THE OSTEOPATHS REGISTRATION ACT 1996 To the Osteopaths Registration Board of Victoria I apply for endorsement of registration under section 7A of the Osteopaths Registration Act 1996 to practise Chinese medicine. * I am a registered osteopath under the Osteopaths Registration Act 1996. * I enclose a separate application for registration as an osteopath under the Osteopaths Registration Act 1996.
