No. 46/2001 Psychologists Registration Act 2000 Psychologists Registration Regulations 2001 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 22 May 2001 Responsible Minister: JOHN THWAITES Minister for Health HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the additional information permitted or necessary to be prescribed to give effect to the Psychologists Registration Act 2000. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 93 of the Psychologists Registration Act 2000. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 June 2001. 4. Definition In these Regulations "the Act" means the Psychologists Registration Act 2000. -- 2 of 3 -- S.R. No. 46/2001 Psychologists Registration Regulations 2001 2 5. Application for registration In addition to the matters set out in section 4(2) of the Act, the prescribed information to be contained in an application for registration as a psychologist is— (a) the full name of the person; (b) the details of any other name used by the person; (c) the date of birth of the person; (d) the telephone number of the person. 6. The register In addition to the particulars set out in section 17(3) of the Act, the prescribed information to be included on the register is— (a) the date of the person's initial registration; (b) the person's registration number. 7. Certificate of registration In addition to the particulars set out in section 18(2) of the Act, the prescribed information to be included on a certificate of registration is— (a) the name of the person registered; (b) the date the certificate was issued; (c) the period the registration remains in force. ═══════════════ r. 5 -- 3 of 3 --
