Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Environment Protection (Vehicle Emissions) Regulations 1992 1 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3. Extension of operation -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 164/2001 Subordinate Legislation (Environment Protection (Vehicle Emissions) Regulations 1992 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2001 2 The operation of the Environment Protection (Vehicle Emissions) Regulations 1992 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 1 February 2003. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
