No. 9/2000 Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987 Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) (Alpine Resorts) Regulations 2000 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 15 February 2000 Responsible Minister: SHERRYL GARBUTT Minister for Environment and Conservation HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe— (a) further offences against a relevant law for which an infringement notice may be served; and (b) the penalties for prescribed offences. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 91 and 99 of the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987. 3. Amendments to Schedule of Offences -- 2 of 7 -- S.R. No. 9/2000 Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) (Alpine Resorts) Regulations 2000 2 After item 4302 of the Schedule to the Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) Regulations 1992 1 insert— "4303 An offence under regulation 14(5) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 2 $100 fail to comply with a vehicle entry permit 4304 An offence under regulation 22(5) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $50 fail to comply with a cross country ski trail permit 4305 An offence under regulation 25(5) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 fail to comply with a four wheel drive vehicle permit 4306 An offence under regulation 27(5) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 fail to comply with a vehicle permit 4307 An offence under regulation 31(2) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 use an oversnow vehicle in an alpine resort without a permit that has been issued in respect of that vehicle under regulation 31(1) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 4308 An offence under regulation 31(4) $100 fail to comply with an oversnow vehicle -- 3 of 7 -- S.R. No. 9/2000 Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) (Alpine Resorts) Regulations 2000 3 of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 permit 4309 An offence under regulation 45(1) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 keep an apiary in an alpine resort 4310 An offence under regulation 47 of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 ski or use a snowboard or engage in other snowplay activities in an area that the Board has determined is an area set aside for public use in which those activities are prohibited 4311 An offence under regulation 48 of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 use a toboggan, sled, ski-bob or inflatable device in an alpine resort that is not in an area that has been set aside under regulation 10 of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 as an area where the use of those devices is permitted 4312 An offence under regulation 50(1)(a) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 embark on or disembark from a ski lift other than at the place where the ski lift commences or finishes 4313 An offence under regulation 50(1)(e) of the $100 embark on a ski lift that is indicated by signs to be closed at r. 3 -- 4 of 7 -- S.R. No. 9/2000 Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) (Alpine Resorts) Regulations 2000 4 Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 that time 4314 An offence under regulation 51(1)(c) and regulation 51(3) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 take part in hang- gliding, parasailing or paragliding that is not in an area that has been set aside under regulation 10 of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 as an area where the use of those devices is permitted 4315 An offence under regulation 53(1) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $200 park or drive a vehicle so as to obstruct, impede or interfere with the operations of a Board, its employees or contractors in an alpine resort 4316 An offence under regulation 54(1) of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 1998 $100 as a person in charge of a vehicle who enters an alpine resort, fail to carry wheel chains suitable to be properly fitted to the vehicle at all times during the snow season 4317 An offence under regulation 54(3) of the Alpine $100 as a person in charge of a vehicle entering or in an alpine resort r. 3 -- 5 of 7 -- S.R.
