No. 21/2000 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Local Government Regulations 1990—Extension of Operation) Regulations 2000 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Local Government, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 21 March 2000 Responsible Minister: BOB CAMERON Minister for Local Government HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Local Government Regulations 19901 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Local Government Regulations 1990 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
