No. 4/2000 Supreme Court Act 1986 Supreme Court (Sheriff's Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 18 January 2000 Responsible Minister: ROB HULLS Attorney-General HELEN DOYE Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to increase the fees payable for certain things done by the Sheriff. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 129 of the Supreme Court Act 1986. 3. Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 February 2000. 4. New Table of fees inserted For regulation 5 of the Supreme Court (Sheriff's Fees) Regulations 19961 substitute— -- 2 of 5 -- S.R. No. 4/2000 Supreme Court (Sheriff's Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 2 "5. Fees The fees payable for work performed by the Sheriff are as set out in the following Table— TABLE No. Item Amount 1. (a) For execution or attempted execution of every warrant or writ or other process (except for a warrant of possession, writ of possession or a combined warrant) $155.00 1. (b) For execution or attempted execution of every warrant of possession or writ of possession, for the first two attempts $195.00 1. (c) For execution or attempted execution of every warrant of possession or writ of possession, after the first two attempts, for each 2 further attempts $165.00 1. (d) For execution or attempted execution of every combined warrant $244.00 1. (e) For every warrant of possession or combined warrant where execution is requested to be achieved solely by means of the Registrar of Titles or the Registrar-General recording an interest in land $98.00 2. Where a warrant, writ or other process for which a fee is payable under item 1 specifies more than one address at which execution is requested, for each additional address specified $68.00 r. 4 -- 3 of 5 -- S.R. On the renewal of, or redirection of any warrant, writ or other process or the receipt of instructions to proceed with execution after the party at whose request the warrant was issued has earlier provided instructions to withhold or withdraw from execution $68.00 4.
