No. 31/1999 Discharged Servicemen's Preference Act 1943 Discharged Servicemen's Preference (Amendment) Regulations 1999 The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 23 March 1999 Responsible Minister: JAN WADE Minister for Fair Trading STACEY ROBERTSON Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Discharged Servicemen's Preference Regulations 1992 to extend the operations in a prescribed theatre of war. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 18 of the Discharged Servicemen's Preference Act 1943. 3. Extension of operations in Vietnam In clause 4 of the Schedule to the Discharged Servicemen's Preference Regulations 19921 for "11 January 1973" substitute "29 April 1975". ═══════════════ -- 2 of 3 -- S.R.
