Physiotherapists Registration Regulations 1999
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are to
prescribe—
(a) the information to be contained in an
application for registration as a
physiotherapist under the Physiotherapists
Registration Act 1998;
(b) the information to be included on the register
and certificates of registration under that
Act.
2. Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 87 of
Physiotherapists Registration Act 1998.
3. Definition
In these Regulations, "the Act" means the
Physiotherapists Registration Act 1998.

4. Application for registration
For the purposes of section 4(2)(a) of the Act, the
prescribed information to be contained in an
application for registration is that set out in the
Schedule.
5. The register
For the purposes of section 15(3)(c) of the Act,
the following information is the prescribed
information to be included on the register—
(a) the address of the registered physiotherapist;
(b) his or her professional qualifications;
(c) the date of his or her initial registration;
(d) his or her registration number;
(e) whether the registration is general or
specific;
(f) details of any cancellation of registration.
6. Certificate of registration
For the purposes of section 16(2)(b) of the Act,
the following information is the prescribed
information to be included on a certificate of
registration—
(a) the name of the person registered;
(b) the date the certificate was issued;
(c) whether the registration is general or
specific.

(b) date and places of any other registrations
