No. 23/1999 Physiotherapists Act 1978 Physiotherapists (Qualifications) Regulations 1999 The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Physiotherapists Registration Board of Victoria, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 10 March 1999 Responsible Minister: ROB KNOWLES Minister for Health SHANNON DELLAMARTA Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe a qualification in physiotherapy granted in South Africa as a qualification recognised for the purpose of registration as a physiotherapist in Victoria. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 28 of the Physiotherapists Act 1978. 3. Qualifications for registration In Schedule 1 to the Physiotherapists Regulations 1992 1 under the heading "(i) South Africa", for the entry relating to "University of Capetown" substitute— -- 2 of 4 -- S.R.
