No. 59/1999 Road Safety Act 1986 Road Safety (Drivers) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 25 May 1999 Responsible Minister: GEOFF CRAIGE Minister for Roads and Ports SHANNON DELLAMARTA Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the circumstances in which the Roads Corporation, in cases of hardship, may dispense with requirements for being granted a driver licence. 2. Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986. 3. Cases of undue hardship In regulation 201(6) of the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999 1 for "(2)(d)" substitute "(2)(b), (c), (d)". ═══════════════ -- 2 of 3 -- S.R.
