No. 71/1999 Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 Subordinate Legislation (Environment Protection (Control of Ozone-depleting Substances) Regulations 1989 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1999 The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Conservation and Land Management, makes the following Regulations: Dated: 16 June 1999 Responsible Minister: MARIE TEHAN Minister for Conservation and Land Management STACEY ROBERTSON Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1. Objective The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Environment Protection (Control of Ozone-depleting Substances) Regulations 19891 for the period specified in regulation 3. 2. Authorising provisions These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994. 3. Extension of operation The operation of the Environment Protection (Control of Ozone-depleting Substances) Regulations 1989 is extended for the period -- 2 of 4 -- S.R. No. 71/1999 Subordinate Legislation (Environment Protection (Control of Ozone-depleting Substances) Regulations 1989 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1999 2 beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 27 June 2000. ═══════════════ r. 3 -- 3 of 4 -- S.R.
